After multiple visits to Bamboo Village, we were inclined to ask him about what he was going to do with so many pieces of Mao memorabilia. He then proceeded to tell us about his amazing artwork, which, of course, got us very interested. Just like Foster, many of us at the BV team grew up during the time of Mao and so are equally engaged with anything pertaining to Mao. Fast forward several months and we found ourselves at the opening night of MAO. Needless to say, we were blown away by what Foster had done to bring the many products vividly to life. So, if you ever find yourself in Downtown Vancouver wandering aimlessly, we highly recommend a visit to Foster's exhibit. Plus, it doesn't hurt that admission is free! You'll find yourself losing track of time as you amble across the gallery in awe. Foster Eastman's MAO runs daily from 12-6 pm until December 8, 2013 so make sure you catch it before its gone!
