Customer Reviews
"Even if you're just browsing it's like being transported into another world. The stuff in here ranges from the weird to practical. Good bargains to be had on Chinese kitchenware. I love the wall hangings...The stuff (mainly lanterns) hanging from the ceiling is just wild."
- Yelp user BB H.
"Chinese antiques a plenty, paper lanterns, fans, those little cats with the waving arm - they're all there. But the stars of the show are definitely in the back of the house! Come on, don't be shy or scared: climb the crickety stairs, suck in your gut and walk sidestep through the tightly packed aisles. (When I say tightly packed, what I mean is Thumbelina would love it here). But it's worth it! "
- Yelp user Crystal H.
"If you're looking for furniture and accent pieces while on your walking tour of Chinatown, you can't miss out on Bamboo Village. They have a great selection of Asian pieces at reasonable prices - chests of drawers, lamps, tables, statues, even ornately cut wood for builders. Beyond furniture and home decor, they also have a number of amusing conversation pieces from Chinese army hats to anime character plastic frogs that greet you with a high-pitched "Hello!!! Welcome!" as you come near...be sure to check out this neat shop"
- Yelp user Lori O.
"I come here often, mostly to browse and see what new hidden treasures await me! They sell everything from paper lanterns and bamboo place-mats to antique furniture. I even saw this cute little kimono, meant to go on wine bottles instead of those "dime a dozen" gift bags. The best part is the furniture in the back and upstairs. I've purchased many of my favorites from here. It's the same pieces one might find at Moe's Home Collection, but at a much better price!! The staff that works here are always friendly, and one girl in particular, will giggle at me as I've been here so often. Great little place, maybe you'll find your own little treasure here."

"Located in the heart of China town, this store is awesome for Asian folk art & crafts! I love it. You can buy awesome little tea sets, silk items and my favourite – paper Asian lanterns!... They also have beautiful furniture and Asian antiques! Gorgeous as well. It’s a family run store and another cool thing is their phone behind the counter – you have to see it. The owners are so friendly and welcome everyone as if they’ve known them for years. Don’t miss this stop when you are in Chinatown –they have a great variety of goods for very low prices."
